You have found it. At Pumayana we are all yoga lovers and have been practising yoga for many, many years. We sought to produce the perfect yoga mat... and this was no small challenge for our product development team.
We wanted a mat that was natural and eco-friendly. One that doesn't smell. A mat that feels fantastic when your body comes into contact with it. A mat imbued with positive vibrations to such an extent that the image reflected from your mat will help with your intention throughout your practice.
We wanted to produce a thick Yoga Mat that would be perfect for any type of yoga, including
hot yoga and pilates. So here it is.... we hope you love it as much as we do…
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Firstly about the artwork you see on this Mat. Galactic Body represents Noces Galactiques (Galactic Wedding) - the alignment and integration with all aspects of ourselves. The access to full awareness and potential of who we really are. The artwork depicts in detail the connection between the body Spirit and ALL Multiverse. From the bottom Chakra that is our Galaxy, rises the Kundalini Energy activating the clear vision of the Pineal gland and firing up the Crown Chakra (sun) to give access to the Universal Mind. It represents the magician - warrior that conquered his or her fears and sees beyond the illusion of this dimension.

Pumayana Yoga Mats are designed to last, with a natural rubber base and an absorbent top layer made from recycled plastic bottles. By purchasing a Pumayana Yoga Mat you are helping to reduce landfill and ocean pollution. The top layer is non slip meaning you can safely use this yoga mat for any type of yoga, hot yoga or Pilates.
SUSTAINABLE NATURAL RUBBER
We use natural organic rubber not synthetic. Many yoga mats are made from synthetic rubber made from the polymerization of petroleum based products. Our natural organic rubber is made from the latex of rubber trees - in other words the trees did not have to be cut down, the latex is extracted from healthy living rubber trees.

The Pumayana Hot Yoga Mat is luxurious to the touch. It literally feels like velvet but the grip is fantastic and can be increased by spraying water.
