We sought to produce the perfect Yoga Mat for Hot Yoga and this was no small challenge for our product development team. We wanted a mat that was natural and eco-friendly. One that doesn't smell. A mat imbued with positive vibrations to such an extent that the image reflected from your mat will help with your intention throughout your practice. Firstly about the artwork you see on this Mat. The Light Activation Artwork represents the balanced union between masculine and feminine energy. ECO FRIENDLY TOP LAYER MADE FROM RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES
This Pumayana thick eco yoga mat is designed to last, with a natural rubber base and an absorbent top layer made from recycled plastic bottles. By purchasing a Pumayana Yoga Mat you are helping to reduce landfill and ocean pollution. The top layer is non slip meaning you can safely use this yoga mat for any type of yoga, hot yoga or Pilates.
SUSTAINABLE NATURAL RUBBER
The Light Activation Eco Yoga Mat is made from natural organic rubber not synthetic. Many yoga mats are made from synthetic rubber made from the polymerization of petroleum based products. Our natural organic rubber is made from the latex of rubber trees - in other words the trees did not have to be cut down, the latex is extracted from healthy living rubber trees.
FEELS FANTASTIC
The Pumayana Yoga Mat is luxurious to the touch. It literally feels like velvet but the grip is fantastic and can be increased by spraying water.

ALL NATURAL MATERIALS
Pumayana Yoga Mats are free from silicone, toxic glues, phthalates, PVC and Chlorine, which sadly are commonly found in cheaper mass produced yoga mats. This means there is no funny smell - yay.
WATER BASED INKS
Pumayana Yoga Mats use water based inks to produce the beautiful and inspiring images you see on the different mats and these colours and images won't fade.

Our unique two layer Yoga Mat is thicker than most mass produced mats with a 4mm thick natural rubber base and then top absorbent layer.
